2012 Season Recap

The boys’ soccer team returned eight starters from last year’s sectional championship squad and finished with a 10-win season against four losses and a draw.  The schedule featured five games against teams that won sectional titles and the Rebels went 2-2-1 against that group, including a 2-1 road win at state-ranked Center Grove.  Senior Josh Brockman was named honorable mention All-State and was a first team All-District 5 selection by the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association, as well as a first team All-Marion County selection.  Senior Nick Littrell was a second team All-Marion County choice and senior Eric Cunningham was tabbed as an honorable mention All-Marion County selection.  Brockman, Cunningham and Littrell were joined on the Academic All-State team by seniors Keeler Jackson and John Teney, as well as juniors Connor Basch, John Fox and Daniel Jennings.
