The Lady Rebels will be looking to improve on last year’s season and once again will look to compete in the State Meet by fielding one of the most complete teams they have had in a few years. The team will be led by returning varsity award winners and promising young newcomers.  Colleen Naumovich, the 2012 most points award winner, will once again be back to anchor the sprint team. Also, looking to have big years for the Lady Rebels will be Delaney Collier in the sprints and long jump, Britni Lee in the shot put, Elise Jahnke in the 400, and Kim Merkel who will be back after missing all of last year due to injury.  The Lady Rebels will also be looking to have big years from Kaitlyn Owens (Middle Distance), Hallie Harris (Hurdles),  Cynthia Ader (Distance), Kaleigh Wilham (Distance), Kenzie Quinn (Middle Distance) , and from track newcomers Emma Lawrie, Jordy Schaulk, and Emily Murphy.

This years coaching staff will be joined by Jenny Merkel, one of the finest Track and Field athletes to have run at Roncalli.  In every event that she participated in, she holds a place in the Lady Rebel Top 5 list, including as a member of the 4 x 100 relay team that holds the school record and as the 100 m Dash School Record Holder.
