2012 Season Preview

The Lady Rebels will be looking to continue their run of successful seasons and look to compete in the State Meet.  They will be led by four senior ladies , all of whom have earned  varsity letters in track: Erin Darland, Claire Lovell, Cassie Schultheis, and Kaitie Schultheis.   Also returning this year are the following  varsity letter award winners:

2011 Season Review

The Girls’ Track Team competed well at the Girls' Track Sectional at Shelbyville High School en route to a 4th place finish. Special congratulations to Sophomore Bridget Perry who was the Sectional Champion in the High Jump.

The team competed at the Regional Meet at Shelbyville against 38 other teams all vying for a berth in the State Finals. Every member of the team who competed in the meet earned a ribbon. 

Bridget Perry placed 7th in the High jump, the 4 x 100 relay of Claire Lovell, Colleen Naumovich, Jessie Haldeman and Kim Merkel ran a season's best time of 51.99 to place 8th and the 4 x 400 relay of Hannah Hasty, Keagin Green, Kim Merkel and Hannah Hartnett ran their season best time of 4:09.36 to place 5th.

Hannah Hasty qualified for the State Meet in the 300 meter hurdles. Hannah ran an awesome race, coming from behind in the last 100 meters to place 3rd and advance to the State Meet with a time of 46.56, a new personal record. In the State Finals, Hannah finished 24th.
