Christian Service
Christian Service Requirements
Roncalli focuses on the person of the student, which is why we see that community involvement and Christian service is an important part of developing the student into a Christian adult. Each student that attends Roncalli are required to complete service hours along with a reflection that is turned in to their religion teachers.
Please click here for hours and guidelines on service hours.
Christian Charities
Throughout the school year, Roncalli holds several drives to help benefit the less fortunate. As we are challenged by Christ to “feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, welcome the stranger, clothe the naked, take care of the ill, visit the imprisoned” (Matthew 25), we place these principles in action as a family. Some of the many drives we hold during the school year are:
- Clothing Drive
- Shoe Drive
- Canned Food Drive
- Lord’s Pantry Toy Drive
- Lenten Project
For more information about these drives, please contact Bob Tully, Special Projects Coordinator
Appalachia Mission Trip
Roncalli High School offers two Appalachia Mission Trips to Charleston, West Virginia. One opportunity is during Spring Break and the second is in July. This trip allows students to spend a week giving back to the community.
